Taxidermy
Taxidermy
Taxidermy is a method of making realistic images (stuffed animals) based on the skin of the animal. It is put on a certain base, and the cavity inside is filled with a filler. Modern taxidermy uses "mannequins" (an internal base made of polyurethane foam with anatomical preservation of the proportions of all body parts and muscle volume). Taxidermy is mainly used for the manufacture of museum exhibits, as well as for the preservation of hunting trophies.
